A tank still generates over 10 times the threat of a DPS, it's just shown in a different way in Legion. If a DPS deals 100 points of damage, they actually receive 50 Threat and a Tank is supposed to receive 500 Threat on the meter. In Legion, it's important to note that threat is halved.
In Battle for Azeroth, a Tank receives 64k Threat on the meter.In Legion, a Tank receives around 220k-320k Threat on the meter.For comparison the Skittish affix currently reduces Threat by 75%.Īs a simple example, if a DPS deals 16k damage, they will receive 16k Threat while: For some tanks it may be up to an 80% threat reduction but may vary due to weird nature of Legion Threat. This is a massive threat reduction from Legion. As a baseline, Tanks will generate 4 times more Threat than DPS.
